Indian
visa facility in Karachi soon
City Nazim Mustafa Kamal has said that citizens of Karachi have to
take the longest route to Islamabad and bear heavy expenditures for
getting Indian Visa, therefore the Indian Visa Office may be opened
in Karachi to prevent citizens from the hassle.
He expressed these views while talking to Indian High Commissioner
Sharat Sabharwal who called on him at his office in Civic Centre and
discussed with him matters of mutual interest.The city Nazim on this
occasion said that the conditions in the region were not good.
India and Pakistan should take more measures for improvement in
bilateral relations so that the two countries could deal with the
present circumstances with joint efforts and coordination.
The Indian High Commissioner acknowledged the development works
carried out in the city during City Nazim Mustafa Kamal’s tenure. He
said that other cities of the world should also follow this example.
