Shujaat
flays ban on IDPs entry into Sindh
TAKHTBHAI: Chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Senator
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain Tuesday said the ban imposed on entry of
internally displaced persons (IDPs) into other provinces was an
anti-state and unconstitutional act.
Addressing a gathering of IDPs at Labour Colony in Takhtbhai, he
said victims of the Malakand military operation had left their
houses in the best interest of the country, adding, they were the
citizens of Pakistan and nobody could stop their free movement.
On the occasion, he distributed gas cylinders, other daily use items
and cash among those displaced from Swat, Buner and Lower Dir. PML-Q
General Secretary Mushahid Hussain, Provincial President Ameer Muqam,
senior leader Nisar Khan, Umar Ayub and Mushtaq Ghani also spoke on
the occasion. The speakers lauded the spirit of NWFP residents for
hosting the victims, saying it was the time for sacrifices to show
the world that Pakistanis are united.
