'Taliban getting weapons from US, India'

- Participants of ‘Tuhafiz-e-Pakistan Convention’ have decided to
launch a countrywide campaign against talibanisation and the
increasing influence of the US in internal matters of Pakistan.
Pakistan Mushaikh Council organised the convention here at Data
Darbar on Saturday, which was attended by hundreds of mushaikhs from
all four provinces, and Azad Kashmir. Hamid Saeed Kazmi, Sahibzada
Fazal Karim, Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Qutab-ud-Din Faridi, Sultan
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan, Mohi-ud-Din Mehboob, Munawar Shah Jamati, Haroon
Gilani and others addressed the participants of the convention.
The participants decided to launch ‘go taliban, go America campaign’
in the country besides holding conferences and seminars to present
real face of Islam. The convention supported the military operation
against extremists in Malakand division.
The speakers said the talibans were getting weapons from the US and
India and using them against the Pakistan Army. They said the US,
India and Israel were working on the plan to destablise Pakistan.
They further said that the India had established 50 training centers
in tribal areas with the cooperation of the US intelligence
agencies.
They stressed upon unity among the nation to take the country out of
crises.
Criticising Maulana Sufi Muhammad, JUP Chief Sahibzada Fazl Karim
said that the country needs peace and love as preached by Data Ali
Hajvery, Sultan Bahu, Rehman Baba and Bullay Shah. He said that
there was no room for Sharia of a fake Sufi. He said that defeat of
taliban would be victory of Islam and Pakistan.
He said that creation of taliban was an international conspiracy
against Pakistan.
He said that the taliban have so far demolished 10 shrines of soofis
in the NWFP.
Ghulam Qutab-ud-Din Faridi said that the criminals demolishing
shrines, burning schools and hanging corpses after taking them out
of graves have nothing to do with Islam and Muslims. He vowed to
launch a movement for establishing peace in the country.
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Qadri said that the army was fighting against
taliban in Malakand division for saving the country and Islam.
He said that the nation was united behind the army in the war
against taliban.
Stressing unity among the nation, government and the army,
Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that it was the time to clear the country
from extremists. He said that extremism and Islam were two opposite
things.
