Degrees of 5 female MPAs challenged LAHORE (APP): A citizen Rabiya Ashraf has challenged the qualification of five MPAs of PML-N Raheela Khadim Hussain, Saima Mahiyuddin, Mehmooda Sahi, Farrah Deeba and Shagufta Sheikh alleging that they had submitted fake degrees before the election commission. The petitioner contended that the respondents were elected MPAs on reserved seats on PPML-N tickets. They had submitted fake degrees before the election commission. She, therefore, prayed to the court to declare the respondents disqualified from being member provincial assembly. She also prayed to the court to restrain the respondents from joining the assembly session till the disposal of her petition, Frontier Post:Saturday ,June 06,2009 |
