Provinces be given rights to avoid separation: Jamali
LAHORE - Editor-in-Chief daily The Nation and
Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust Majid Nizami has said that we should
maintain unity and integrity in Pakistan at all cost. “India
considers Pakistan a stone in its way to go forward but we should
make this stone a mountain and do not render it a heap of sand.”
He stated this while addressing the special sitting on ‘Present
Situation and Responsibilities of Political Leadership’ at the
Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Friday. The NPT and TPWT
organised the sitting. Former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan
Jamali was the key speaker.
Majid Nizami pointed out that Jamali belonged to the family of Mir
Jaffer Khan Jamali who worked hard around day and night for Pakistan
and with whom he (Majid) had close association. “Now, Mir Zafarullah
Jamali is one of the politicians in Balochistan who can play an
eminent role for the solidarity and unity of Pakistan,” he added.
The NPT chairman further said that after working for the PPP and
PML-Q, Jamali had now formed his own party and “it is hoped that he
will work for the welfare of Pakistan according to the vision of
Allama Iqbal and the Quaid.”
In his speech, Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali said that he came to
Lahore suddenly and offered condolence to Majid Nizami on the death
